Köln

Köln is the Dom, the Rhein, Veedel, Karneval, Brauhaus, construction sites, warmth, and an amazingly stable self-confidence. The city sometimes seems chaotic, but usually in a way that later passes for history. Hajo Päffgenrath fits in here because he doesn't explain Köln like an audio guide, but makes it tangible as an encounter.
